Hello everyone and thanks to your continued trust and support PMG Wealth Management continues to grow. Just this past week I’ve hired a new person to add to our service team.

Please welcome Ryan Zentz to PMG. Ryan is a new college graduate from the University of Kentucky and majored in Finance. He will begin studying for the various regulatory exams right away to further help support our team. Ryan has a strong interest in financial planning and besides getting those licenses he will be helping George, Terry, and myself with meeting prep and supporting service items in the beginning. As you can imagine there’s a lot to learn in this field and it will take some time to fully get him up and running. We actually do have a little head start here already, as Ryan was one of our interns the past two summers. He is pretty familiar with our processes and has met many of our clients during summer reviews. As he learns more we will continue to add to his responsibilities. Similar to the addition of George Maroudas four years ago, I prefer to train our own team members from scratch.

With the addition of Ryan Zentz, I can probably get away with not having an intern this summer, but as fate has it my oldest son will be interning part time. Of course, to confuse us all his first name is also Ryan, but we will have to go with his childhood nickname from baseball of “RG” to make our lives easier in the office. RG is currently majoring in Finance at Michigan State University and just completed his freshman year. I’m hoping he can learn a few financial related items this summer.

As for the rest of us, George Maroudas enters his fourth year with PMG this summer and continues to grow, in terms of knowledge, client “bed side manner”, and our office processes. As you’ve probably noticed he also writes nearly all of our Friday blog posts over the past couple of years so it’s safe to say his financial planning knowledge is very high these days. If you are not on that list let us know as his posts are good. My goal is to have George continue to take on more lead client situations for me. He’s learned a ton the past few years and is finishing up work on his Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation. Most likely he will take that exam late this fall. His biggest and best news is he was recently engaged and will be getting married this winter.

Terry Maziarka continues to be our rock in the office and as most clients love to remind me, she is a super star and the one who keeps this place going. I totally agree. 2023 is Terry’s 16th year working with me and she continues to keep me in check while juggling all our client’s situations. The big news for Terry this year though is her daughter was recently married. She loved every minute of the planning process there and I’m sure is quietly rooting for some grandkids sooner than later.

Myself…I’m excited and honored to see my clients, business, and family grow each day. “Things” as I like to say are going well and I’m happy to be able to add capacity to our office in a time when financial planning is becoming more important for people.

Your team going forward consists of myself as senior advisor, George as associate/lead advisor, Ryan as service associate, and Terry as client service manager. If you have any questions on your situation or know of someone who can benefit from a team approach give us a call.

Thanks again for your continued trust and support. Hope you have a great summer and we’ll talk to you soon.
